Parent Connections - A day at the fire station.

Parent Connections

A Program For Families Of Children Who Are Deaf Or Hard Of Hearing

The Parent Connections Program provides emotional support , information, resources and a parent of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing that you can talk to.

When parents first learn that their child is deaf or hard of hearing many emotions arise. Parents have many questions not only about their child’s hearing but about their own feelings. Parent Connections wants you to know that you are not alone.

Parents Helping Parents

Knowing other parents who understand first-hand what you are feeling is both comforting and empowering. All Parent Mentors have completed a training program and can provide personal support from one parent of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing to another.
